Karen is deeply passionate about end-of-life conversations because she believes that “Hope is not a plan.” Her mission is to shift the way we view end-of-life—replacing fear and stigma with understanding and empowerment. Through education, open dialogue, compassionate companionship, and thoughtful planning, she helps individuals and families approach this sacred time with clarity, peace, and intention.

As a Certified and Insured End-of-Life Doula, Elder Care Doula, Care Consultant, and Certified Grief Educator, Karen provides a full spectrum of support. She serves clients in person throughout the Boise/Treasure Valley area and virtually across the country. With warmth and wisdom, Karen offers deep listening, practical guidance, and heartfelt education to help you and your loved ones navigate this journey with dignity and grace.

No two journeys are the same. Karen meets each person where they are, helping you explore what a meaningful end-of-life experience looks like—guided by your values, beliefs, and wishes.

Karen is a proud member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) and the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA). She also serves as a hospice volunteer, Death Café facilitator, and contributor to the Doulagivers Good Death Movement.
